Linda Alterwitz is a Las Vegas based visual artist who follows a conceptual passion that addresses the intersection of art and science. Her inspiration, the inner workings of the human body and her external environment, plays with the contradiction of fear and reassurance. It is this dichotomy that gives her work a comforting sense of familiarity while simultaneously creating tension. Alterwitz has had solo and joint exhibitions in the United States, and England along with participation in many national and international juried competitions.
